How you can get involved with HomeGrown
Volunteer!
Currently the festival is being organized by a committed group of volunteers and representatives of various non-profit organizations and businesses. While our plan is to hire a part-time coordinator, the bulk of the festival will continue to be organized by volunteers. We need your help!
Festival Sponsorship
HomeGrown Festival has a goal of raising at least $25,000 to cover our 2008 festival costs. For more information about the festival goals and budget, see the "About HomeGrown Festival" documents.
All sponsors will be recognized in the event program. Major sponsors ($1000 and up) will be exhibited in promotional materials including our posters, banners, and website.

Exhibitors
The festival will feature nonprofit booths providing information about localizing our food and our purchasing. We are especially looking for organizations that will provide hand-on activities for kids and/or adults that are fun and educational.

- Can you serve on a committee such as Publicity/Marketing, Education, Chef-Farmer Connections, Logistics, and Fundraising?
- If you are part of a business or organization, can you provide volunteers (both for planning and on the day of event)?

- Paw Paws - $5000
- Peaches - $2500 and up
- Apples - $1000 and up
- Raspberries - $500 and up
- Blueberries – up to $499
- Equipment rental - tents, tables, chairs, stage, PA System, porta-toilets
- Liability insurance
- Advertising – branding development, graphic design, printing, postage
- Contest prizes – there will be various contests including a recipe contest, food costume contest, and potentially others
- Nationally renowned speaker who will speak on issues related to food and the environment
- Guest chefs who will be doing cooking demonstrations
- Making it a Zero Waste festival (e.g. providing food vendors with biodegradable tableware)
- Making the festival accessible to lower-income members of our community by providing food and transportation vouchers
