‘Dude is brilliant’ – 30-year-old refuses to rule out change in QPR after impressive loan stint
Fulham’s Stefan Johansen has hinted he could stay at QPR after this season, having received a successful loan.
The Norwegian joined QPR on loan last month. He has since been featured in the Championship five times and scored once, proving huge success among Rs fans.
His class is evident in the midfield and he has proven to be a perfect replacement for injured Tom Carroll. But can QPR pull off a deal to bring the 30-year-old permanently this summer?
Johansen spoke to West London Sport about his future – he claims QPR has hinted at making his stay permanent and he hasn’t ruled out moving.
It will however depend on a question of money and whether QPR can pay its salary or not. But it goes without saying that many QPR fans have reacted to this possibility and many would like to see him stay.
Check out what these QPR fans had to say on Twitter about the possibility of Johansen staying beyond this season:
Anything to keep Fulham standing if that means Stef can stay here. The guy is awesome. https://t.co/qvIVoOurVp

If wages work, it’s not more complicated

Quality player. Made its own space. Always seems to have time on the ball. Yes please

We need to start keeping good players, including good loaned players, if we are serious about a future promotion. Semi-annual liquidations must cease

Hope it makes a huge difference
